Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV's interior spied

The eVX will be based on a skateboard platform and could offer up to 550 km of range.

A test mule of the Maruti Suzuki eVX was recently spotted parked on the roadside. The latest spy images reveal the interior of the upcoming electric SUV in more detail.

While most of the dashboard is covered, the image does reveal some interesting details of the cabin. The eVX is likely to feature a 2-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel and a floating centre console. The test car also has a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and a rotary drive mode selector.

The cabin of the eVX looks quite roomy. The seats have decent side bolsters and are covered in dual-tone upholstery. There’s also a central armrest. The EV is expected to have features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, a wireless phone charger, a head-up display and ADAS.

The eVX will be based on a skateboard platform and is likely to be offered with two battery options with up to 550 km of range and either a single or dual-motor configuration. Reports suggest that Maruti Suzuki is facing multiple battery supply and software challenges, which has delayed the launch of the electric SUV.
