View Forum Discussion

In the global markets, the new Duster will be available with three engine options - a 1.2L mild-hybrid, 1.0L bi-fuel and a 1.6L hybrid.

The all-new Renault Duster made its global debut earlier this week. The SUV is expected to be launched in the Indian market in 2025.

You may have already seen images of the Duster over the internet. Now, here’s a handy video that shows some of the exterior details of the new model. It also gives an overview of the interior and the features available.

The new Duster is based on the CMF-B platform. You will find several design elements borrowed from the Bigster concept. These include the Y-shaped LED daytime running lights and Y-shaped taillights, chunky fenders with squared-off wheel arches and rugged cladding all around.

The Y-shaped theme has been carried over inside the cabin. The Duster gets an all-new dashboard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen that’s angled towards the driver. There’s a 3-spoke steering wheel and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Overall, the interior looks modern and durable.

In the global markets, the new Duster will be available with three engine options – a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol that runs on the Miller cycle and is paired with a mild-hybrid system, a bi-fuel version powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo that can run on either petrol or LPG and lastly, there’s the 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired with two electric motors and a 1.2 kWh battery pack.
