Richard Hammond involved in horrific crash in Switzerland

Richard Hammond has been involved in a huge car accident in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he was filming for the Amazon Prime show - The Grand Tour. The British presenter miraculously escaped the crash without any serious injuries, though he has been diagnosed with a fractured knee.

Richard was driving an electric supercar - the Rimac Concept One, which is worth £2 million. Hammond was said to be practicing the Hemburg Hill Climb, when he lost control and the car tumbled down the hill. The presenter was pulled out of the wreckage, soon after which, the supercar burst into flames. Nobody else was involved in the crash.

Hammond was airlifted to a hospital in Switzerland where he was diagnosed with a fractured left knee. Season 2 of The Grand Tour was scheduled to go on air on Amazon Prime in October 2017. No announcement has been made yet about any possible delays to the show's airing after Hammond's crash.
