RWD Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 unveiled

Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Huracán LP580-2 and as the name indicates, the car employs a two-wheel drive transmission, with the grunt being channeled to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. The car uses the same 5.2L, V10, but it has been detuned to make 572 BHP and 540 Nm of torque (vs the LP610-4's 602 BHP / 560 Nm).

With the power output, the weight is also dropped by a healthy 33 kg. At 3.2 seconds, the RWD Huracán is just 0.2 seconds slower to 100 km/h than the 4-wheel drive model, with the top speed rated at 320 km/h.

Changes include new front intakes, new 19-inch wheels with Pirelli PZero tyres that have been specially developed for the car, steel brake discs, and a restyled rear bumper. The LP580-2 is around €19,500 (INR 13.76 lakh approx.) cheaper than the standard LP610-4 coupe.
