Skoda Kushaq Xpedition Edition could be on the cards

The Xpedition edition seems to be a heavily accessorized version of the Kushaq.

Skoda might be gearing up to introduce a special edition of the Kushaq. A leaked image suggests that it could be called the Xpedition edition.

The image features a heavily accessorized version of the Skoda Kushaq. The car is painted in the Honey Orange shade and appears to sport ‘Xpedition’ badges on the front fenders.

The Xpedition edition also has a blacked-out front grille, smoked headlamps and fog lamps and a black body kit. Besides this, the image also reveals new decals, a black C-pillar and a black roof replete with a roof rack. Also, note that the blacked-out alloy wheels have orange highlights.

Reports suggest that the Kushaq Xpedition edition could get a few new features as well. The car might come equipped with a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 6-airbags.

Skoda currently offers the Kushaq with two turbo-petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre TSI unit makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm. It is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The second engine option is the 1.5-litre TSI that puts out 148 BHP and 250 Nm. This motor comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option.
