Toyota Glanza teased in new video

Toyota has released the first teaser video of its upcoming hatchback called the Glanza.

The Toyota Glanza is essentially a rebadged Maruti Baleno. The teaser video shows the car's rear quarter. Its tail lamp cluster and dual-tone alloy wheels are identical to the Baleno. The centre caps, however, feature the Toyota logo. The car has a rear spoiler, blacked-out B and C-pillars and chrome window trim. The Glanza also has chrome door handles and chrome garnish on the hatch.

The Toyota Glanza is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that is available in the Baleno. It makes 83 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm and is likely to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox with a CVT available as an option.

Reports suggest that the Toyota Glanza could be launched around June 2019.
