Triumph Daytona 660 India launch imminent

The Daytona 660 competes with the Yamaha R7 and the Kawasaki ZX-6R in the Supersport segment.

The Triumph Daytona 660 made its global debut in January this year. According to the bikemaker’s official Instagram, it is likely to be launched in India soon.

The Triumph Daytona 660 is the successor to the Daytona 675. It is the third model in the brand’s 660cc line-up after the Trident and Tiger Sport.

Powering the Daytona 660 is a 660cc, 3-cylinder engine that is tuned to produce 95 BHP and 69 Nm, making it the most powerful model in the 660cc range. The bike is equipped with an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. It has disc brakes at both ends, with dual rotors at the front.

The Daytona 660 is a fully-faired bike with twin LED headlamps up front, an underbody exhaust and split seats. The bike gets a special 'Sport' riding mode, apart from Rain & Road. Bluetooth connectivity and bidirectional quickshifter are standard.
