Conclusion

Tata has cleverly managed to keep the price difference between all the variants more or less the same at ~Rs. 50,000. This makes different variants that much more accessible. When you look at the features on offer, it seems like the Empowered variant is the most value for money. It is also available with the optional Long Range (LR) battery pack and stands out for its abundant comfort and convenience features, including a rear armrest, automatic climate control, advanced infotainment, USB fast charging, and the cherry on top – an electric sunroof, among other amenities. Moreover, the jump to the Empowered Long Range variant adds a front armrest adding to the overall comfort.

Do let us know what you think is the most value-for-money variant and also if you had to buy the Tata Punch.EV, which variant would you pick?

Here's what BHPian DHARM had to say on the matter:

All variants starting with Empowered and above get a charging indicator, air purifier with AQI display, rear wiper & defogger, rain-sensing wipers and auto headlamps.

Booked Empowered+LR as for 50,000 extra over Empowered or at Par with Sunroof model you get a 360d camera, wireless charger, 10-inch TFT screen and ventilated leather seats.

Here's what BHPian Shreyans_Jain had to say on the matter:

Empowered + LR (no sunroof) is the pick of the range. It has all the features becoming of a complete urban car of 2024, including the sweet 10-inch TFT cluster and the brilliant 360 camera which is best in class. The higher power motor of the LR has more than enough grunt to show a clean pair of heels to all 1.0 turbo petrols at all legal speeds, and enough range for even the occasional intercity run. Ride and handling of Punch was always best in class. Net net, this is the most complete and well-rounded small city car you can buy today, as it doesn’t have the compromised rear seating position that plagues Nexon EV LR.

Here's what BHPian Comrade had to say on the matter:

At 3857mm, it’s a small city car at the end of the day. I wouldn’t want to overspend on such a car, especially when Telangana is charging 14% road tax and 1% TCS on this EV. My preferred variant Adventure LR itself would cost about 15.3L on-road without any discounts!
