The Altroz is based on the modular ALFA platform. It features a slim grille and headlamps with triangular fog lamp pods placed just below the main headlamp clusters. At the rear, the Altroz features wraparound tail lamps with gloss black trim in the centre.

The new Altroz will be offered with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 85 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 3,300 rpm and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit that puts out 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1,250-3,000 rpm. Both engines will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.
