MG Motor India has announced that its upcoming Windsor EV will get reclining rear seats.
The MG Windsor is a five-seater electric car that will be positioned above the Comet EV. It will be equipped with Aero-Lounge seats in the rear that can recline up to 135 degrees.
The teaser shows the interior of the Windsor with what appears to be black leatherette upholstery all around. The rear seats have diamond-shaped stitching, a centre armrest and three headrests. The image also shows blue ambient lighting and a rear AC vent.
MG hasn’t revealed details of the electric motor and battery options that will be offered in the Windsor. However, in the international market, this EV comes with two battery options: 37.9 kWh with 360 km of range and a 50.6 kWh battery offering 460 km of range.

MG Motor India is gearing up to launch its third pure-electric model, the Cloud EV. It will be called the ‘Windsor EV’, when it goes on sale in the Indian market. The trademark application for the nametag has already been filed last month.
The MG Windsor EV is a four-door crossover, featuring an LED light bar with separate headlamp pods at the front. It gets wraparound LED taillights with L-shaped graphics and a roof spoiler with an integrated stop lamp.
Inside, the MG Windsor EV is said to offer sedan-like comfort. It will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 2-spoke multi-function steering and dual screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster.
In the international market, MG offers the Cloud EV with two battery options: 37.9 kWh with 360 km of range and a 50.6 kWh battery offering 460 km of range. MG hasn’t revealed the technical details of the India-spec Windsor EV yet.
