Still it will be super hot. Any way good trails santosh. lets see if there is something that we can do here.

My baby is still not ready for such stern tests. Otherwise i would have come.

Babu, this trail is not even 10% of the avalakondu trail!! It is just for fun we found this to satisfy our OTR appetite.

My CJ got royally stuck in softest of soft clay and I had to abandon the Jeep and rush to hosur town and BUY 1 nylon tow cable, 2 D-Shackle (3.5Ton), 2 two-foot steel cable. Costed 2300Rs for all

Santosh,
I am glad you could recover the vehicle with just a pair of cables and D hooks. As far as i can see the pics, you should never throw a stone into the pit to judge the dept of the pit. YOU MUST WALK INTO IT FIRST!

A stick or a stone will not show the soft underfoot conditions. Only your foot will know. If you cannot barely stand there your jeep wouldn't.

That is the slowest form of getting stuck I have ever seen in a video! And the music adds to the wait ;-)

The terrain looks very "virgin". I would recommend that any organised OTR effort is not beyond 7 vehicles at a week-end.

Just does not make sense to go and ravage such land in huge numbers.

V_N, I learnt it the hard way. But what better excuse to kick myself to buy the most basic of Jeeping accessories.

Venkat - Read on, Dwarak and Giri joined us today and we had a blast, except for my buddies' Red CJ3B busted the crankcase drain bolt, and we spotted it immediately and stopped the Jeep right there and towed it out.

Yup we had a great day sterday ... !!!

We miss our red CJ3B as it was not drivable within 30mins from the start.
