One More Gadget For My Linea

Cara Mia FIAT Linea's stock, factory-fitted battery is still fit as a fiddle even after almost 4 years. This I came to know when I tested with the car voltmeter that I bought from DX costing US$ 5 [Name: rupeesymbol.gif

That's a pretty handy tool as well Ravi Sir, can you please share the link if you do not mind or PM me? Does this work for only cars or does it work on your TB as well

Your car still appears spanking new. Post the Leh Capture what is next on the car's palate? Am sure a GQ would be an understatement

Yes, wherever 12 V cigarette lighter socket is available. But, my Thunderbird 500 does not have it.

In another coupla weeks, my Linea will leave for yet another Leh expedition subject to many conditions. Even in the worst case scenario, she will tour Dhauladhar Circuit of Himachal Pradesh [Dalhousie/Khajjiar/Chamba/McLeodganj/Dharamshala/Kangra valley].

Multi-Bit Ratchet Screwdriver

The other day, we were fixing the embossed registration number plates on my friend's Toyoto Corolla Altis. While I was using my own Phillips screwdriver, he took out his Stanley multi-bit ratchet screwdriver from dashboard compartment and used it. I liked it very much and he recommended it too; so, yesterday, I rode on my Thunderbird 500 to KR Market area and bought it for Name: rupeesymbol.gif

Size: 578 Bytes628. The new ratchet screwdriver fits in my Linea's dashboard compartment comfortably. From now on, I need not open the boot, and then, the tool bag, every time to get a screwdriver for small jobs.

Wow another sojourn, would it be you driving the car or by your son?

Regarding the screw driver is it robust built? Like you know if it can handle the extensive abuse that one puts it whilst working with two wheelers? It looks plasticky from the photos but am sure you will be the best judge.

Wheel Balancing & Alignment And Puncture Repair

Today, my Linea had her wheel balancing and alignment done at the neighbourhood Good Year Wheel Care dealer after 10 k km/1 year, when she had new set of tyres at Chandigarh. I was shocked when I was shown a screw puncturing the rear left wheel; I didn't feel its presence as there was no loss of air pressure. I paidName: rupeesymbol.gif

Thanks, hemanth.anand. But, I've changed the destination: I am not driving to Leh; I will be exploring new places like Dhauladhar circuit of Himachal Pradesh, Mussoorie/Dehradun in Uttarakhand and Bikaner and Mount Abu in Rajasthan.
