Hadd ho gayi,I can't stop laughing. The best way is to have those sound blockers get ready in car of each persons and then drive on railway path to avoid cops.

Infractions: 0/1 (4)

actually all these types of after market horns are illegal - even air horns with those trumpets etc are illegal.
ever wonder why our roads are amongst the noisiest in the world?
according to the law i think the legal limit is 120db (a friend of mine mentioned it some time ago) but im not absolutely sure.

in such scenarios, i personally think that we team bhp ians, as responsible road users, should try and refrain from using excessively loud horns despite the immense frustrations encountered while driving on our roads.

i wouldnt be surprised if some one from the parts where i live gets this installed...i come across many private cars/suvs who have installed the police siren and use it with impunity to speed through traffic ...

well i'd really luv to use these horns on the highways for the busses and trucks who think nothing is faster than them and run on the faster lane.
and the most annoying thing is when these bus people blows off thier air horn for no reason while standing on a redlight. and there i would give them a side and blow this train horn on thier back until they stop on a road side. lol..

bus and truck horns are really irritating. now they have musical tons, they continue push the button until the song or tune is finished .. i guess for about 10-15 secs.

they aint the boss... some day i will have to remove my sub-woofer box and use a compressor instead to blow these bus walas.

any ideas where can we find these train horns in india?

That is insane. I hated the video, felt like whipping that driver. This is surely the most cheapest and the most dirtiest mod ever.

Well Dhaval, its definitely not cheap. Its quite expensive.

On an empty highway if you are blocked by some infidel (driving slowly in the middle of the road), who wont let you overtake, whats your solution?

you want to discuss the issue with him over chai?

IMHO
  • its not the only solution to get way. Its one of the ways.
  • Not to be used in the city, where innocent people might get scared (like in the video)

Gents, can anyone tell me where to find a train horn in India.
I desperately need to fix one as a reverse horn on my safari to jolt dumb and stupid people from their stubborn stupor of not moving aside when they see a reversing vehicle and also for those smart humans on mobiles who feel like a reversing vehicle should wait till they finish their conversation.

Guys i really need one. Where to find?
