Talking Recipes/Discussions on cooking from Team-BHP-Master Chefs

Guys wanted to know how many of you here are cooks. Was trying out some new recipies last week and was wondering if any other bhpian is into cooking too.

I was pretty much staying away from the kitchen for a long time but now i know its pretty easy and i can cook tasty food too. For me after cars come good food. What better way to spend a lazy sunday afternoon after washing the cars?

What say guys?

BTW i cook only non-veg. I am a strict non-vegetarian. I eat only selected vegetarian foods

Learnt how to cook during my bachelor days in Boston (was a necessity with all the junk alternatives). Turns out, I rock!

Those days it was a couple of times per week. Now its only on special occassions or some sundays.

Yummy...interesting topic....

Yeah I do cook, but I call myself more of a recipe book cook. Don't really have my style (or recipes) to whatever I cook, but suprisingly it comes out well.....and yeah me too prefer cooking non veg (egg/chicken/mutton...never tried my hands on seafood or beef/pork)......

I can - well out of survival, shared a house with an english guy ....and knowing what english food was like, I seized control and a few cook books. Did quite well out of it - "if the curry ain'y hot enough, I am !!!!" - great pick up line.

My wife - after observing my cooking in action and subsequent mess (I do clean up afterwards) decided that it is too much of a hasle with me running wild in the kitchen so I was retired.

I walk up to the kitchen and ask my mom/fiancee "Can i help you with something?"

The answer is invariably the same - "Ya sure. Why dont you go watch tv or wash the car or why dont yuo sleep for sometime?" :(

But as calvin says justice shall prevail over tyranny. I have learnt to cook now!
