Just to make sure that Indian petrolheads dont miss turbo-charged television, here is the entire weekly schedule of car shows on our tv's.

The list will be updated frequently with new shows, change of timings etc. *

Sunday

0700 : Discovery Channel : Extreme Machines
0730 : CNBC : Auto Show
1030 : CNBC : Auto Show

I was luckey to watch it and guys I also watch one more program called AUTO MOTOR SPORT TV on DW TV, its a german channel but the program is in english. Its very good one, they give good reviews about cars and it comes for half an hour without any commercials in between.
It comes on wednsday at 2200 hours. Don't miss it but Iam not sure that this channel is available everywhere.

guys you gotta see these two programs on The Discovery Travel And Living Channel

Overhaulin - its a show where they modify and tune [overhaul] a car comlpletely. They gotta overhaul the car inside seven days. What happens is that the family of the owner gets the car to the Overhaulin team without the owners notice. They then call up the owner giving him some excuse like "the car had problems" "the problems are getting worse" "the car is stolen" etc. The whole week they continue with the prank calls to the owner telling him worse things about his car. The moment the car is overhauled after seven days its time to surprise the owner. The end result is awesome that it would put any car tuner or modifier in India to shame. The quality of the product is to die for. The timings are given below:

Wednesday - 1900 hrs
Thursday - 1500 hrs
Friday - 1100 hrs
Great Biker Build Off - this is a competition between two custom bike manufacturers. The bikes they build are so desirable that you might even forget the big four of japan or even the harley's. The bikes have to made from scratch in a certain time limit. After they are completed, both bike groups go on a two day journey to an event. At this event, all members present will have to vote. The bike that gets the maximum vote wins. The timings are given below:

Wednesday - 1300 hrs
Thursday - 0900 hrs
Friday - 0100 hrs

The timings are confirmed, but I do not know whether these programs come on any other day.

Hey has anyone watched yesterday's Wheels? Was a gr8 show. They showed all the cars that r gonna hit indian roads in 2005. Gr8 year its gonna be drivers !!! B rdy.

hey Overhauling is a gr8 show. Yes the quality of work is unreal. They are artists and not mechanics I think. I remember I watched an episode a couple of weeks back when they turned a pick up truck into a mean machine. Wow what a music system it was which they had fitted into it.
I watched it today also. Sunday 7:30-8:00 pm I think. yes.
This is also a time when this program shows.

but I think TOPGEAR is still the best car show I have ever seen.

I was tuned into BBC at 7:00 pm. There was no Top Gear. Not even neutral.

Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld is back on tv ....
Its telecast on Tuesdays on Discovery's new channel ... Travel and Living ....
and they have also have a Program called American Choppers about Two Wheels
and a competetion to build a radical Bike ... I forgot the name of that Program
