Bombay drive to Lonavla : Sunday 22nd May 2005

All the bombay boys...wake up....

We need a drive on the weekend as well....
Rj, i and satya are in for a weekend drive. The rules are the same as the banglore drive. Whos game?

Theres a poll for either lonavala (old road) or dahanu, i had been there two years back...the roads were very good then...part of the golden quad. project. If any other routes please specify. Make your choice.

I am on for the drive but its preferable that we have it on Sunday and also i am not in town and destination is not a problem anywhere is fine for me.

Are you guys planing to hit thte expressway.. If my NHC was there i surely would have come.. Optra will come next week plus have to run her in as well.. Santro sucks driving and i cant get her out anywhere..

I think Sunday is the best day..

How about going the other way towards ahmedabad

yeah ahmedabad is a good idea and sunday is the best day and the road towards ahmedabad is great and i would love to go to ahmedabad have never been there but dont have car. will have to hop in with any of you guys

though i have voted for the lonavala road, even the road to Uran via JNPT is good. there want be any trailer traffic if it is on a sunday. the only hitch is that there are lot of speed breakers but over all the road isnt bad at all. once you reach the beach at uran it is a good place too near ONGC. there is a helipad where the cars can be parked. not much of a scenic beauty but there is beach and plenty of rocks.

we normally cruise at 80 kmph on our sunday evening drive in my m800.

might be taking off to shirdi over the weekend since mon happens to an off... not sure yet tho... would be my first looong drive in my baleno...

as for roads... y dont u guys try kashid / murud janjira for a destination.... excellent roads.... classic long and winding roads.. with the last stretch being parallel to the sea...

Xbhp guys are planning for a Mumbai - Pune get together on the 28th. It would be really cool if Xbhp and Team-Bhp do a joint get together? what say?

Please do let me know brothers so i can organize a small meet between xbhp and team bhp for this event. We are planning for a overnite bonfire on 28th sat in pune. will be good fun.
