Naah! I have known the tulsient name for many years now since they are into NAS/ storage solution.

DM is another branch of their business. Check here

But you can write to them and ask for payment on delivery method, it might be available.

Dadu, no offense meant, but this does sound like a Nigerian 419 Scheme.

The blister pack was delivered to me within 2 days of order & payment, so the Nigerian angle is ruled out.

In the meantime I researched/digged deep into this pill to find out whats the background. So here's my findings.

This pill is sold across the world and moreso in the EU and AP region. I also found that they call it as a Fuel conditioner than an additive.

Manufactured and packaged in New Zealand by Bioactive Technologies ltd. for New Image International Ltd and Ubiee Corporation and sold through its distributors in each region.

You can find this pill by many names in the regions like dyno-tab , Firepower , MP6ty , powerpill etc etc. But they are all the same with similar marketing, graphs and statistics. For EU/AP distributor is RingSMS - UBiee powerpills.

Now I can understand why they sell in different packaging and brands in various regions, although selling under a single brand name would have given them more leverage but I guess thats what DM is all about. And yes, it doesnt have a brandname as STP and Elf.

Now more on the technical part, Power Pills contains:
  • Ferrocene to raise the power output from a given volume of fuel, provide additional lubricating properties and thus reduce the overall emissions.
  • A detergent to clean the fuel system, break down and remove carbon deposits and thus restore the overall efficiency of the engine and fuel system to that of a new vehicle.
  • A binding agent to enable the production of Power Pill in a safe, stable and easily handled product.
Read the technical specifications here.

Chemically talking in its native state, Ferrocene has many applications(the ones from our point of view):
  • Used as fuel catalyst for rocket (aeroplane) propellant, it can improve combustion speed by 1-4 times, lower the temperature of exhaust pipes, and avoid infrared chase.
  • It can be used as petrol antiknock (in place of tetrasthyl lead) to produce unleaded petrol.
  • Used in fuel oils such as diesel oil, heavy oil, light oil etc, It can eliminate smoke, save energy and reduce air pollution.
  • Adding 0.1% Ferrocene to diesel oil can cut down the consumption of oil by 10--14%, eliminate smoke by 30--70%, and improve power by more than 10%. And no deposit is left at the spray.
So it plays a dominant role in the development of fuel oils and improvement of their moderate conditions. The above are published by a chemical manufacturer in USA.

Also read some more FAQ's on this, if you are in doubt.

I think it will benefit those smoking diesels more than anyone else due to the chemicals inherent properties and in combination with the other agents of the pill.

Although its existence is not without controversies with some people claiming that it doesnt work, marginal increase etc etc but just like any of such product you cannot hit a 100%.

Just like some premium fuels brand that work in some engines but not with others.

So its something you add to diesel to make it better.
Does not really make it different from things like STP/SystemD/HP Power/BP High speed diesel etc., right?

It does see here

Primarily, you will not find Cetane/ Octane boosters and anti-knock agents in most of these detergent based cleansers.

Hi, dont know about the chemistry behind it but I have been using the pill in my santro and tavera since last 6 months and have found the following difference
1.) In the tavera, there was a definite lowering of engine clatter / sound and the pickup has improved a lot. Overall the vehicle feels a lot smoother to drive needing less gear change than before (Increase in Torque ??). Mileage too has improved but not much maybe to the tune of 10-15%.

2.) The santro feels like a verna - huge improvement in pickup and smoothness of the engine (MAKHAAN !!!). Feels so smooth to drive. Mileage has improved by around 2-3 Km / lt.

Now I am not connected to TULSINET in any way, these are my observations after using their pill. Their sales guy visited my tea garden and convinced us to buy 100 pills (10 X10 strips) for use of the Gensets (580 KvA) and even gave a demo on these monster engines. Fuel consumption reduced by 25 % and there was a huge reduction in engine sound and visible smoke. Unfortunately these engines were modified to run on GAS, so I thought why not use it in my cars.

I am happy with it.

I do not differ with lifewater on the engine performance.

For the Safari:

- Engine is quiter and lesser of the 'krrr' knocking noise, while pickup

- Low end torque seems to have improved, power delivery feels crisper.

- FE values will have to wait till half tank for the calculations.

PS: Perhaps it would have been a good thought to distribute the pill (still 9 left with me) in the bangy team meet for some more genuine feedback from ppl willing to try.

I went to their office at East of Kailash, and purchased it.
I broke one tablet into 4 pieces and put it in my tank (Approx 25 Litres remaining in the tank) drove to Noida no immediate difference, guess will have to wait for the drive back and then post again.

Okay, following is the FE.

With Normal Diesel + System D(only 20-30% AC) : 9.4 kmpl

With Normal Diesel + MP6ty (100% AC) : 10.7 kmpl

If you negate the AC usage %, FE increase is about 14%

If you assume that the Increased AC usage ate up 1 kmpl, FE increase comes to around 24%

This is in peak hours city driving, no highways.

I also forgot to mention that the cranking time also reduced while starting and so did the stopping shudder too.
