My White Fiat Punto MJD

Evolved. elegant.
Italian design at its best.
Cut to flaunt well toned muscles.

She wears a sleek bonnet that flows smoothly.
As slender mercury drop headlamps wrap themselves elegantly around the nose.

With a chassis that handles as well as it rides.

Power dressing just acquired a stylish new accessory.

God created men equal.
But my new girl friend is no less.

With a 1.3 litre multijet engine 16V DOHC drive by a fixed geometry turbocharger.

And 76 horsepower of war passion.

Steeped in style right down to the avantgarde silhouette.

15 inch alloy rims shod with gorgeous 195/60 R 15 wide tyres to carry me smoothly past hordes of admirers. And across rough roads.

A rear window defroster and wash/ wiper to clearly track competition fading in the distance as she glides.

She is urmila. Ruling road rage

My personal possession, urmila, is obviously more jazzy than my parents' jazz.

She wears mirrors that switch angles at the touch of a button.
To catch envious glances.

Snazzy dials that echo the evergreen colour of the season-black and white.

Back lit cockpit style dashboard. To spot it at the dark as easily as in the day.

Special bossa nova white shade that sheds light on all.

Congrats!!
A FIAT punto after a HONDA jazz
You should create a thread comparing the two considering you own both of them.

Is it the improved punto as mentioned in one of your threads?

Congratulations!!

Congratulations for buying the best looking hatch available in India today! I thought that after reading your ownership experience of the Honda Jazz that the fiat punto lost another passionate customer!

Well they didn't!!!

Meet my new girlfriend, urmila.

Not just another car.
But the most elegant fashion statement.
Not just engineered to be technically superior.
But designed to match its Italian cousins.
Not just good looking.
But endowed with good taste and refinement.

You don't just drive it.
But you experience what it feels like
to be noticed.
to be known.
to be recognized.
to be admired.
You don't even need to be
anyone famous.
A sense of style is enough.

She makes a statement without uttering a word.

Power meets its match in style.
She wears a tail that kicks up at a rakish angle.

To match a creative taillight cluster.
Skillfully hiding a boot that swallows loads of luggage.

I swish the power steering with elan.
The fully automatic temperature control promises to keep me and her looking perfect.

pampered by generous leg room.
And amazing shoulder space.

But this is just a start of a long journey

Congrats Sid, Welcome to the FIAT Family.

As YOU have bought a PUNTO, its like a confidence boost for me, who is still skeptical to buy a FIAT again.

Congrats Sid. Your white beauty looks really awesome.

So its time for the thoughts about the car, regarding the ride, FE, build quality, etc.

BTW, is the white color metallic?

Well done

The car looks stunning. As I could see from the dealership stickers, you bought the car from Urmil motors, the same one you previewed for us some time back.
If I remember correctly, you said you had gone there as a prospective Fiat Punto customer and were pleasantly surprised to find sales staff well informed (were they also the one who supposedly had management from the an erstwhile Honda dealership?).

Wishing you many miles of happiness, it's a lovely car.

Edit: OT - In one of the pictures I saw a couple of Grande's in the background, did you take a quick look at the improvements?

My punto, urmila is fashioned to spoil me.

Delicately placed head and neck rests.
So fatigue is just a metaphor.

Seats clothed in plush fabric off set a chick instrument panel complete with a sleek steering wheel.

She is a 2010 make, with improved plastic quality and reduced NVH levels.

She got insured for free, but only for the first year.
Yet she promises to give me peace of mind at least for 50 months with a warranty package though I will keep her for more than that.
Yet she will not leave me alone. 4 years of roadside assistance and "Fiat First" mean peace of mind for me.

Urmil motors has helped me a lot in acquiring my urmila.

She is my bold new drive to guarantee admiration.

Perhaps parde ke peeche bahut kuch hua tha.

What was the story? And what motivated me to buy this? Find out soon...

Two interesting points:
1. You say the plastics have improved. Can you elaborate on this?
2. Some interesting story to come up.

Interesting thread!
