Default The Wait is over..YOKOHAMA Now in INDIA..!!!

Yokohama's have been Japan's leader in high performance tires for a long time & now they have officially launched it in India so no more shipping of Yokohama's from Bangalore needed.
Its has been launched in the capital.
Office address
Yokohama India Pvt Ltd
517/519 Antriksh Bhavan
5th floor Kasturba Gandhi Marg
New Delhi 110001
Tel - 011 66099559

Source: Autocar

The best thing in the ad is that it features only high performance tyres like ADVAN sport, ADVAN ST , dB & geolander..

Does the list also include Neova's? And do these classify as Indian made tires?

No, sumit. They are different. The advan sport are one ranger prior to the AD07's I guess. Check this link out:

Good news for all concerned! This had been in the makings for a few months whilst Yokohama was busying appointing dealers etc. And yes the Advan Sports will be available here but from what I know as of now only in 20" or above.

The other day a dealer was showing me a set of 285/35 R20 Advan's he was about to fit on a A8!

Rahul - Advan Neova's are actually a rung lower than the Avan Sports which are now the flagship tyres of the Advan range. You can read more here: ADVAN USA

Neova's are uni directional & Sports are asymmetrical

Yes but they're less grippy than the Neovas too. Tirerack classifies them as Max Performance, while the Neovas are Extreme Performance.

You may soon see Yokos on Indicas.

ok ok i get it so does this mean i can get yoko's for a decent price lets say 20% lesser than what we normally pay 6 to 5 k for the es100 i guess

so how about 4k for those tires please

hey can i get the parada spec-2 for my alto i dont mind 14 or 13 inch wheels, if not whats my other option plus i want assymetrical designs for good grip and performance.
http://www.yokohamatire.com/TireIntro.asp?TireID=17

i also checked the avs es100
185/60R14 82H
195/60R14 86H
205/60R14 88H

does that 14 mean i can use this on my alto

also are the ADVANS available here in India

You can expect the prices to rise now, actually. Though the ES100s only cost like 3.3-4k, so I don't know who's been ripping you off.

Xinome
u wont get ES100 for your Alto for two reasons
1. I think ES100 starts from 14"
2. 14" upsize for alto is 195/45-14 which is a very odd size. The only tyre i have seen in that size is Hankook Ventus

For your size you will only get A539s in India. They sell the Advan Neova in your size, but I doubt you'll ever find a set here.

Great news for new car buyers, we can start seeing yokos as OE fittings.
