Mahindra Centuro N1 launched

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. has launched the Centuro N1 motorcycle in India. Priced at Rs. 45,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi) or Rs. 46,570 (ex-showroom, Pune), it is a cheaper variant of the Centuro, which has been responsible for Mahindra’s recent success in the Indian two-wheeler market.

Cosmetically and mechanically, Centuro N1 is identical to the standard Centuro. Both bikes use the same 106.7 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, MCi-5 engine, delivering 8.5 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm and 4-speed transmission. Mahindra claims that the N1 can achieve a fuel efficiency of 85.4 kpl (ARAI certified).

Coming to the equipment, Mahindra has provided an anti-theft alarm with engine immobiliser, encrypted remote flip key, find-me lamps and guide lamps. The N1 uses an analogue instrument cluster in place of the LCD digital display that is found on the standard Centuro.

The Centuro N1 comes with a 5-year warranty.
