Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire facelift spied ahead of launch

Earlier this week, Maruti Suzuki launched the refreshed Swift hatchback and the company is expected to follow it up with the introduction of the facelifted Dzire compact sedan. We had published images of the car in May (click here for our report) and now some more pictures have surfaced.

The refreshed Dzire gets a new grille with chrome garnish and smoked headlamps. The front bumper has been changed as well with larger fog lamp housings which are lined with chrome and the alloy wheels have a new design. The rear of the car seems unchanged. The equipment list will include a keyless entry and go system (engine start / stop button) and like the hatchback we expect the Dzire to get a tweaked dashboard and infotainment system.

The Dzire is expected to continue with the same engines as the current model. However, like the Swift, it is likely to get a slightly lower power output and better fuel efficiency.
