Sir headers, in your own turf, the great palar challenge, how many times did the gypsy win the best performing vehicle and how many times did the JEEP win.
Why do you have to cut of the rear, why do you need crawler gears, why do you need lockers, why do you need to modify the suspension ?????????

Your gypsy suspension is a failure (no articulation nor the strength to take jumps)
Why does gypsy axle break more often including the axle tube?
Why do you need lockers and crawler gears and a chopped up rear to compete with stock Jeeps?
And leaving palar aside, how many terrains has the gypsy ruled over the Jeep, Bangalore aavalakonda, kerala kutikanam 2012 , bangalore deverabetta, sarjapur pits , bombay auto mission, Akc 2011. Every where miserably failed ( stock).
Could you explain please.
A vehicle with pathetic articulation, a vehicle with no low end torque, vehicle with huge over hang. Needs viagara to compete with stock jeeps,

1. NONE IN A JEEP.
2. Are the specs different for them?
3. I dont know.
4. Unimog or G class dont matter here - We are talking TPC terrain and the vehicles / engine drivetrain best suited for the same.

Your last question - I cant understand.

But what I know and have proved - is already on record.

You have not stepped on this terrain till date and this pointless discussion has been going on for more than 2 years.


What I would suggest is for you to walk the talk - A meager 38 odd BHP Jeep with International engine driven by an expert has put a 90 BHP 4wd vehicle to shame in the same territory.

Or should i grant you a honorary membership to fantasy disco?

Now lets not side track this thread - but please understand that a stock gypsy is as miserable as a stock MM Jeep.

The jeeps are modified to take the beatings too!

HOW MANY PALAR CHALLENGES HAVE YOU DRIVEN?

You have neither the vehicle nor the experience to comment on TPC, yet like a true internet fan-boy off-roader you strut your stuff only on the Internet.

Besides why do you need to change the engine in a JEEP, can't the stock (F4-134/MDI2350/XDP4.9/XD3P/MDI3200TC) engines survive simple off-road use?

Please don't try to draw inference from the fact that the JEEPs did relatively well in TPC2012, "hence your JEEP could have done well at TPC2012" it comes across as pathetic and desperate, and belittles the efforts of the true champions who have prepared and competed like gentlemen over the years.

As you have commented earlier on this thread that TPC separates the boys from the men. Are you a man in that context?

Headers, so you have agreed that your opinion was based on google search.
Yes i have not stepped into palar i agree, so how is a Jeep miserable as a gypsy, Jeep is got better ratios,low end torque, ramp over, approach departure angles, so please explain.
So what do people do to Jeeps to take a beating

Arka, palar is what it is,but it is not all. Every event in India have their own difficulties, be it bangalore, kerala hyd or bombay.
So you think i dont have a vehicle, ok fine , so experience does not matter since i wan not talking palar only, but in general.
So your boy has agreed that he is a internet fan boy .No clue ,not driven a Jeep and just commenting looking at specs like sohc and ohv, what a joke.
I m not all for changing engines , yes all our old engines are well proven.

Arka can you post the results for the best performing vehicles from the time TPC started, im not saying anywhere that my Jeep will do it , i have to prove my self yet, so im man enough to agree on that.
Looking forward to participating in the next years event, great going guys.
