Now to the Scorpios...

First this slipped into the ditch. Luckily nothing bad happened and finally it was pulled out.
Oops that's a great escape with family inside it would have been nasty.

This one badly damaged its front bumber on the right side.
Badly damaged, i guess the full bumper need to be replaced and is that lightforce on the scorpio looks good.

Hmm! Siddarth you concluded my gypsy will end up 2 WD for ever. I got struck in munnar because of tyres and at pearl valley because of front axel was broken.

Now both problems fixed, I would not get my gypsy struck anywhere. My assurance. hahaha

Jammy has two petrol Jeeps that he permanently owns. When I first met him, he had 3 petrol and one diesel Jeep, I bought the latter leaving him with 3 petrol Jeeps.

My wife is hogging the PC at home for writing her Rajasthan travelogue. When she gives me the PC, she makes me upload her travelogue.

whiplash

Hey guys great pics there, congrats all of you involved.

One thing i observed in one of the picture was that, when the scorpio was being pulled out by the jeep there is a guy standing in the center and some guys sitting in the back of the jeep..this is very dangerous in case the rope were to break,it can cause serious injuries to those in the path of the whiplash.
I have seen ropes(including steel ones) break under tension and the whiplash of the broken rope causing serious structural damage to Mild Steel plate an inch thick, imagine on the human body.
Its better to stay at the sides at a certain distance.Safe offroading

cheers

Yup, you're right and sometimes even after yelling at the top of our voices, people dont want to move out...so there's little else we can do apart from picking up scattered brains of the scatter brains involved

That has been discussed here :

(See post #55 for example)

Red Liner, maybe a 3 minute breifing before an OTR to go over some basic safety points would help in terms of informing participants of the dangers involved? Maybe then the yells might make more sense to them?

Absolutely. It is usually ALWAYS done before an OTR especially by the seniors over at JThrills. In all my previous OTRs of more than 6 vehicles over the past 3 years, there have been mandatory briefing sessions. This time, I came horribly late and was not a part of the briefing session, so I am not sure what happened.
