bittangala is about 6 km before virajpet town as you enter south coorg from the hunsur stretch via gonikoppal. this is also where the golf course in located - so where is this closed circuit off road business going to happen I wonder?

Hi Shankar, The venue is Opposite to Rotary School, Betangala, i.e. 1/2 Kms before Golf Course..

Samurai, are you going to take part in the event? I dont have a jeep but im planning to ride up till there to be a spectator and get some pointers from the participants!

what a superb looking 4WD Grey Scorpio! With its bumpers removed and those vicious looking tyres it really looks like it could bite anyone approaching it too closely!
How did it perform on the OTR?
hope someone who was there can share this essential piece of feedback with the rest of us!

Siddu didn't take his Gypsy there. It was only Shakir's Gypsy + viji's Jeep.

I got a call this morning ~7.30 am from Lokesh, who had got a call from someone in Coorg mentioning that the Gypsy from Bangalore got the first prize. So am guessing that it must be Shakir's Gypsy

In the initial posts there were comments on river crossings. Did all of that happen?

Hi Khan Sir Shakir is the winner in gypsy class, and Sakaleshpur Suprajith team is winners in jeep class, myself is the runner in jeep class, unfortunately our other vehicle Rehans Scorpio 4 WD failed in final lap Almost 100 mtrs before finish line

Bad luck.

Samurai Your right those who are ready to brake all their joints has to be participated in this kind of event. first time we enjoyed a lot.
