Ya buddy, morning you missed out. It was a sudden plan.
Lets do this when its dry. In the dam site there are more trails which is even more challenging and fun.
This is how the conversation went right after we got stuck and Jayesh got us out:

Venky: Robi, how bad is the trail up man, shall we try it?

Robi: Its quite tough, its not going to be easy

Jayesh: No way those tyres are going to make it. (prior to the climb he kept complaining that the Jeep did not go into 4 low - which at that time was mysteriously true because it did not crawl back in 4 low/reverse gear. It almost free-fell).

Venky to Khan: Machan, can we join you guys?

Khan: Shoore shoore, lots of space behind, come.

Venky to Bob: Bob, shall we leave the jeep here and get into Khan's gypsy (Khan/jaggu had suddenly got the itch in their bums and began following us).

Bob: Are you insane? Where are we gonna sit? Khan's gypsy has no roof at the back. We'll have to stand in the rain like idiots all the way to the dam. No way am I going on for this for the whole night.

Naga (shivering): Yeah machan, it doesnt make sense.

Venky to Robi: Brother, when do you think we'll get back.

Robi: I dont think we'll make it back tonight. If we do, it will be early in the morning. If we dont, come back and look for us.

Venky/Bob/Naga's faces:

After mentioning this to Khan/Jaggu, and their faces:

Next thing you know, we were asleep back at the unfinished jungle cabin. We did not even engage 4WD back. Just free-wheeled in top gear to get away from this madman called Robinson.

The photos and the narration are just

Good one guys!

Jaggu, please post the photos in subsequent posts rather than the 2& 3rd page posts of yours. Missing out on the flow when you do that!

Hahaha.. That was a good narration of that nights conversation we had... Guess it was worth the try, even thought we couldn't make it in the night.

i remember that conversation. Its was a good thing that we did the trail to the dam in the morning.

Considering the rain and how slippery the gradients were and the number of fallen trees that we had to clear, we would have ended up staying on the trail all night long.

Good thing i woke at the right time, i had just opened my eyes and i saw spidey and the invader heading up, and then khan immediately asked me to jump into the invader.

Were you in the driver's seat?

That said, your gypsy is boring to watch. You really need to get a jeep and get into the fun the rest of us are having

I think before Akaash could press the record button, the Gypsy was done with the climb

Yeah, the jeeps make the terrain look 100 times more tough then it actually is and helps maintain the illusion -- of what great/daring things these folks are doing. Special effects...
