One more warning to all vehicle owners, you paint will get scratched big time. No, not the normal OTR scratch, but deep ones.

Thanks

Reading that Sree has a dent on his differentials, i get an idea!
How about carrying also a big gunny sack and have along with a spotter, a sweeper in every vehicle? He could collect all those parts falling off the vehicle into the sack and give it to us at the end of the trail
From the last november, anaconda (avalakonda) has given me a broken tail lamp, bent rear bumper and a hundred thousand scratches.
Reading Shan, Sree's replies, i don't know how to react. Pissin in my pants already!
Honestly, would it make sense for an absolute noobie like me to attempt this at all?
God Bless!

Yes it does . How will one learn then ? you break, you learn.
Jump into the well, you will swim somehow.
This is exactly what I'm gonna do.

Tejas,Allan & Devang,

We look forward to you folks. If it rains the terrain changes to our advantage. Imagine clay soil to pose extra challenge

On serious note. Dwarak/Marshals team, if some of us want to pay for our expenses do give us that option.

Inspite of all the multiple warnings - many of us are coming boldly by trusting the marshals who know this terrain very well.

I am with Jaggu here - Will prefer alternate route than deep water fording. Maintaining my tincan is a pain as it is..

Looking forward to the screeching sound of the thick Avalakonda shrubs against my cheap paint.

How is that little notorious mud pit - is it slushy and is it on the trail this time?

Daniel, If that is the case, everyone is willing to pay. We marshals have decided to treat you all

Mud pit is dry now, but by OTR time should be slushy if it rains.

Here are some of the pictures from OTR Recce on 5th Sept. Please note that the photos do not speak of actual terrain gradients. Hence, may be misleading.

Let me start the photos with pleasant sight of a pond with lotus flowers.

Robinson,

With appologies must decline any more additions in this event. Manageability is a big issue.

No worries, we will have more OTRs coming up.
