I am looking to fit my Nissan one tonne with 15" or 16" rims. This is mainly to give me more choice in off-roading tyres. The Nissan has the same pcd as the Swaraj Mazda and the centre guide position diameter is also spot on. Anybody knows what the Swaraj Mazda PCD is? Its a 5 bolt pattern by the way.

Anybody had any experience with "Speedy" alloys out of Australia????

I need your reviews on Apollo 31' 10.5 R15s? Are they good?
Am getting those for 8000/ per piece. How is it comparable to Maxxis Trepedor 235/75.

As per the usage, I'll be using it on my Armada 4WD, only off-road. Wont be used much on tarmac. My budget is at the max upto 8k per piece only. I don't mind CST road shopping.

I use Maxxis trepadors 235/75 R15 on my MG413W and they have performed well in all situations.

Hawkz RTs is an AT Tyre and since your usage is predominantly off-road, I don't suggest it.

I too am running Maxxis trepadors 235/75 R15 and am very happy with the all-round performance.

Recently picked up a 1996 Classic with Wire Spoke Alloys.

The previous owner had just shod them with Yokohama Geolander ATS 235/75 R15.

How good are these for off-road ..

Yoko Geolander ATS Tubeless Tyre for the Classic with Spoke alloys a good combination. What are the potential hazards if any?

Also what is the tyre pressure one must maintain for 235/75 R15....

Hello lugnut, headers and 4x4addict, I am really sorry even am not getting any pictures over Google or even Apollo's website but I confirmed this tire as the cost and name is mentioned in Apollo's original price list. I downloaded this list from their website only.

The name is Apollo 31x10.5 R15 C109S 6PR HAWKZ R/Ts TL. MRP mentioned on the list is 9740/-. But since all you guys are quite happy with Maxxis even I guess I'll go with them. My only concern is I should get originals as I have heard there are many duplicate ones available in market.

I need a clarification. The classic spoke wheels, is that really aluminium alloy? Looks like chrome plated steel wheel.

NO radials please , needs full height ratio & no bulging side walls & of course with some off road friendly pattern .

Why not see the Apollo tyre, click a pic and send it across if any dealer has it?

Basically check if the tyre has suitable lugs for your kinda driving.

Continental is an established tire company out of Germany. I regard them as maybe just half a notch less than Michelin in quality overall. This means they are pretty good. They are OEM for some Volvos, BMW and sometimes V.W.

I made a special 5 hour trip to Jalandhar, Punjab 10 days ago to pick up a set of Michelins. But I saw Continental's Cross Contact and bought them instead because of their very deep aggressive tread. So far I am delighted.

Their street manners are fine, no big noise or handling issues whatsoever.

They are rounder than a lot of tyres. They required fewer lead weights to balance.

Their deep lug pattern gives good traction for non-mudder tyres.

Their lugs are siped (little cuts in the lugs) allowing lug flex and more small gripping edges for snow and water.

They void mud reasonably well.

32,000 rupees for a set of four to include mounting, dynamic balance and allignment.
