Hi Souman,

Very nicely done jeep! The paint work is excellent....

can you please explain how you done that modification which I marked? In your old pics there are some gaps between the bonnet and body line.

thanks,
sadiq.

Dear Kandisa,
Great work done on the body and superb paint job. Please don't mind, though the frame work is good but the top has a shabby fit and do something about the tyres, they should have more solid for the overall look and feel.

Regards,
Thanks Sir, i am a big fan of the jeeps done by you. Regarding the soft top, well the clumsy side portion in the front was fixed later (as shown in the pic) but still the overall fit was kept a bit loose because we expect it to tighten during the winters. We have seen some tight-fit tops start getting cracks during the winter times.

All Team-BHP 4x4 Jeep Pics!-dsc04476.jpg

But we are definitely thinking to modify the top to some new design in near future.

Regarding tyres, i do agree a bigger tyre would have increased the look manyfold (i guess thats the easiest way to improve looks of any jeep!), but since i don't 've power steering and drive the jeep in city, in no way i wanted the steering to get heavy. The present size is 30X9.5R15 which is roughly 241/79/15; net height is same as 7.0X16 and 1" shorter than 7.5X16. And i must say the steering is really light and sometimes people mistake it as presence of P.S. So i will retain the width for the time being just for the ease of manouvering.

@Sadiq,
the modification was tricky. It was quite a troublesome process but was done perfectly at the end by fellow bhpian 'renegade', who is an expert in design & fabrication and successfully did the same in his own and one more jeep (same spec and look as mine with alloys in addition) apart from this one. You can pm him for exact details, but let me repeat, you might risk your bonnet if not crafted properly.
-regards,
Soumen

Randeep, fantastic looking Jeep I like your taste. Neat rubber, soft-top implementation and body colour.

milantbhp,
I like your jeep man! It is a true 4x4 with SUV comfort. Looks great man! (Just remove those roof rails -))
Instrument console seems to have meters different to that of Bolero. Which vehicles are they from?
