| Update...... Ok guys here is the update - 1. Have bought the tyres (Yokohama Geolander A/T S - 215/75/R15). the tyres will be installed on the stock rims and look like the perfect size for my application.(60% Highway 40% OTR)     2. Have got the break booster installed. I did manage to get the OEM booster that comes installed on the MPFI King. Getting the OEM booster helped a lot because i did not have to take the pain/risk of installing the esteem BB. The esteem BB has 3 break lines and one of them has to be sealed as the gypsy has only 2. Also the linkage to the break paddle has to be extended to arrive at a perfect setting. I did endup spending a bit more on the BB but i guess this setup is much more reliable as no modifications/alterations are involved and the BB is a bolt on. | nice choice of tyres and its size.  im glad you didnt go for bigger size as they have been a pain while turning and you dont want a tyre which touches the inside of the wheel well. lets have a photo of the gypsy with the new shoes!  |

| Restoration Stage I Hi guys, its been long(over 3months) since i have had the gypsy and have been working on its restoration. On buying the gypsy i had decided to restore it in 2 major stages. This was because the gypsy came with a hard top which i wanted to keep till i get back from my Ladakh Trip(8th-24th Aug 2009). On getting back i intend to take the hard top off which would involve some painting and welding work again which will be done in stage 2 along with anything else that is required. Till such time it was very important to make the Monster reliable and comfortable(how much every possible) as a very long and challenging journey was to be undertaken. As a part of Stage 1 the major work that was carried out was -
I have been able to achieve all of the above only because of the help and support i received from pdev29  (Devang, the first guys i ever spoke to on TBHP) who threw open his entire contact list and also put in a lot of time and effort. In fact it was Devang who directly & indirectly inspired me to go ahead with the discision to buy a Gypsy in the first place.Maruti Suzuki Gypsy 1995 - pdev29's Photo Gallery - Team-BHP danlalan, xtremepower, abheekg, khansultan and many more tbhpians have been very very helpfull and have provided me a lot of support.
