Amar82, Thanks dude. you know the reason why I was hunting for the HT. And moreover this is my daily drive so I could not opt for ST.

my restoration Jeep YJ continued.....

After the liftkit tyres and wheels I was hunting for a nice set of full metal doors for my YJ. I called up many scrap dealers and also visited few of them but could not find any. They were few doors but all were in very bad condition. So decided to keep my search on till I get a good set.

After a week or two I got a call from a scrap dealer who had taken my number. saying that he has a set of full doors for YJ and then I rushed to him.

I found that the doors were in good shape but alas.. they were dark gray colour which means I need to paint them now but then I had no plans to paint the YJ soon due to budget constraints.
Anyway I decided to pick the doors and after many days of thinking I decided to put them on without painting it yellow.

Meanwhile I also got a High Lift Jack 48" and got it mounted on the front bumper as it became a musthave tool due to the lifting.

Check out pics
1) Checkout the High Lift Jack mounted on the front bumper

2)My YJ with full doors ( different colour though) thank god now I am saved from the scorching arabian summer wher mercury goes upto 50+ degree celsius

DesigNation, I checked your garage. Have you got the mirrors already installed on your Camper?
Mine is a Wrangler YJ, probably your friend would have got you mirrors of wrangler TJ. If you notice my half doors had different mirrors and full doors has different ones.

BTW - are you from Malaparamba by any chance? From your garage pics the place looks very familiar.

cheers
JC

Hello JC,

Sorry for wrong nick! Actually there is another thread started by Jeepsan and by mistake I wrote his name instead of your!

Thaks for the price. Just for a comparison here and there, how much for a complete body shell and how much by part wise....! Planning for a 540 modification into Wrangler

thanks,
Sadiq.

Paint job

All, the last item in my wrangler build up "Stage-1" was a good paint job.

Three months after the lift I got the Wrangler repainted in "DETONATOR YELLOW" colour which comes on the new Wrangler JK unlimited.

Now let the pictures speaks.

Just arrived from the paintbooth.

Check out my Wrangler in new "Detonator Yellow" paint.

That concludes the "Stage -1" of my build up.

Keep watching this space for more updates.

Hello DwarakSir,
Thanks a lot for your compliments.

Cooper Discoverer STT is too good, but only issue is they are too noisy on highway or on paved roads.

Unfortunately never been able to take my YJ offroad after the build up.
And you know the reason right.

Shibu
