Dear Ankit,

After talking to a few mechanics, as well as going through the MG416 thread on tbhp, it does seem that the real issue is in the fitting of the engine! Too many mechanical niggles, and the short-cuts taken may not prove beneficial in the long run.

Let it be. I'll stick to a MG413W and keep things simple.

thanks
Papers are present, but tax is pending for a long time. The seller asked 55K for the car. But atleast 2 gentlemen who we all know very well have quoted around half of the amount, and still not found it worth picking up.

Panagarh is about 150 km from Kolkata. Just take Kona Expressway-NH6 into NH2, and keep going about 135 kms. The scrap market is right on the main highway.

Nah don't think it came in RHD from the factory as even the Sultan of Brunei had to settle for a LHD.

So you up for this restoration?

Hey dude, I was at UBS' house yesterday, saw the Landrover still standing there. What happened, you refused the gift or something?
