Yeah you are right, handling at higher speeds has become worse, however for some reason the steering became lighter and much better to drive. I have even installed a sport steering, so the general perception is that the steering should become harder (due to the smaller circumference of the smaller steering) right? But surprisingly it did not! Dont know how that panned out

Few New Mods

- Snorkel
-Rocksliders
-New Deep dish steering. Its a larger circumference than the older one, so lot easier to steer.
-Also did white lettering to the tyres, since the profile looked a little bland

Also did the white lettering for my Montero along with the gypsy.

Attaching a pic of my Jonga too Need to start work on it as my next project, after Gypsy is done

Its painted..got a guy who paints number plates and hoarding to do it.
It might peel off after a year or so,just needs some touching up when it starts to fade.

Please advise on where to get such a bumper, to fit winch, and how much it costs. Winch and add-on bumpers are not available in Calcutta. In fact, one is lucky if one gets regular spares, either at the MASSs, or at the MGP retailers, or even in regular shops !

I have always wanted to fit a tough bumper and winch. Is the bumper made of aluminium ?

Hi, I got the bumper courtesy Mr Vijay Kumar of Swastikfabs 4x4 ....it is quite sturdy amd made of steel. Kindly contact Mr Vijay Kumar www.swastikfabs.com or swastikfabs 4x4 on facebook for updated prices.

Here is my contribution to the thread. Presenting my humble '98 model 1.3 lit (carb) Gypsy King acquired a few months back. Totally stock, except the LEDs on the front bumper.

Haha, These trials are all in the peripheries of Hyderabad

Friends, I have recently joined Team BHP. I`m enclosing a few pictures of my newly acquired 2016 Gypsy King HT.

These pictures were taken a couple of months ago at the time of taking delivery & a couple shortly after that. I have a few upgrades planned & will post the pictures when these upgrades are complete during my next trip to India.
