When you built this jeep did you not change these parts, brakes, clutch & suspension ? I should assume not - but just want to double check. Would it not have been so much easier to change them during the build ? Cheers | |

BHPian | ![]() brakes n suspension were overhauled during construction obviously and needed parts changed, clutch was not needed to be changed as my engine was only 2000 km , so now to prepare for the season everyting being overhauled. |

| ![]() wow! this is the word. Allan - can you pls share with me the cost of this? I wanted to go in for a similar machine.. thanks to gogi for pointing me to this thread of yours. some questions also - 1. how is the performance on normal metalled roads? is the drive comfortable? can we do long journeys with it? 2. how about reliability - if i take it out for long journeys i should be assured that it will not break down on me? thanks. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() +1 I was also very curious with the ride quality compared with the THAR which has independent suspension on the Crde Model. If putting in a Scorpio engine into the MM550 is a dependable option why not ?? Should surely work out cheaper. But my major area of concern would be the ride quality.. and ofcourse the cost/reliability Cheers |
