Your jeep is building up really nice and I liked the description of the roll cage work. It is well done and looks good too. What have you decided about the tyres and wheels?

For the tyres and rims, I am confused that should I go for Cooper 235/85/16 with stock army rims OR new 8j alloy wheels with Maxxis Bighorn 32" tyres.

If I will go for new alloy wheels, the vehicle will loose it's army look. :(

The jeep is for sure coming up well. I love the ivory color and the custom job on the roll bar particularly. Have you decided on the tires or still figuring it out. I have been glued to this thread for quite some time now and I am waiting eagerly for the next post and pictures from you on this. This jeep will, for sure be a head turner.

Since you are so fond of the aggressive army look, I think Cooper 235/85/16 with stock rims will certainly justify their selection.

Looks like you have designed this new place from where the Snorkel pipe comes out .Generally what is seen is cutting the bonnet and taking out from there.
Is there any issue in Tyre movement?

After pipe bending and fabrication, I have done powder coating process on pipe.

I was not happy with the paint finishing of the snorkel head so I decided to remove it. When I applied paint remover to clean it,
I saw there were lot of craters and scratches on the snorkel head on which the manufacturer didn't paid any attention and hampered its quality while making.
Thickness of the material is not even all over. Also front mesh-frame is not in shape. I am very disappointed.

These are the pics when I removed old paint with paint remover and found bad finishing quality of the product.

I have done Sand Blasting and Powder coating process so that it will look fine. After these processes product became smooth still craters can be seen.

Guys, this is the aluminum casting product and I don't have any idea how to fill up the craters before going for powder coating.
Please help me on this, I am planning to do its powder coating again.

Just a query, from where you procured Snorkel Head? did you connect it to Air filter or its a direct fit to Engine?

Has anyone installed this hand break system between two front seats for MM 540 or 550 ??
What are the precautions should be taken to avoid too much cuts and drills during installation, please help me.

Thar owner guys please upload some detail pics of this hand break system of your Jeep to get idea for installing.

Have you managed to resolve the problem of the craters after the Powder coating on the snorkel head?

I too am planning on this kind of assembly on my 340, like the Classic.

In my classic we had shifted the hand brake from the center to the driver's side so that we could make a center console with lockable compartments and cupholders. I think we used the cable from an ambassador.

I got this hand break assembly and cables of Bolero vehicle. Sorry I didn't clicked pics of cables.

I think I should have to follow Thar's hand break installation procedure.
