Make of these alloys is Silverline . MRP is 22k but the ones i bought was used for 3 days so got it for 17k:) . It was a mix of black & buffing , i did not like that so got this painted to full matt finish black.

haha , i asked for the PM as not everybody is comfortable sharing prices , i was just being nice:D.

BTW i have silver line alloys in my Spark. 17 k is nice deal for those alloys.

Really happy to see the progress of your Gypsy. Man you are going to ignite the spark of jealousy. On one hand you have Jonga and other Gypsy 1.6..( :OT We have spoken over phone few times). Is is possible to check out you Gypsy & Jonga at your convenience.

Congralutions! Gypsy with Baleno engine 1.5 ltr and King gear box (i pressume) is a deadly combination. I am eagerly looking for it to be on road.

HI huys , its been a while i updated the thread , so here goes with the pics from this week's progress . Did not use metal paste even at the smallest places , used 3M's body filler , hardener and Lesonal putty . For the chassi undercoat and floor used 3M's underseal . Bought swift seats for the front. Sorry for the poor quality images as i forgot my cam in my house & these were taken with my mobile


Closed the vent because in my previous gypsy water used to leak through it



Bought swift front seats & custom mounts have been fabricated



Bought front bumper from Swatikviji so the OE bumper mount is of no use , its been cut and the hole is sealed off with a plate

Under body finished with 3m underseal



Floor also finished with 3m underseal



Body being lowered onto the chassi with new body mounts

Why are you not shortening the rear overhang? That would have been a neat mod with this build.

I know sir , i wanted to but bro does not want it . I so much wanted a shorter rear after i had a hard time with my old gypsy while climbing down a rocky descent . Let my bro's Jonga finish restoration im sure he'l take his eyes off the gypsy then i'l do it :D

Do it now, much easier since you are doing a ground up restoration. No double expense with painting etc also.

The swift's seats wont be a little bulky?

Good decision to close the vent holes.. Its a leaky spot / corrosion point for Gypsy.

Its kind of a tight fit but fits well . Will put up pics of the seats in place by today . Went in search of Baleno seats but ended up buying these as i got a good deal for these.

Yeah buddy , my previous gypsy couldn be driven during rains because of this reason so decided to close it.
