Is this specifically for Tata? I checked the chassis no of my Corolla on the RC there is a digit in the 10th place '0' . I am I missing something?

Corolla is made by Toyota, not Tata. Quoting the correct post for that.

For Skoda VINs starting with MEX, the 6th digit is the Month and 10th digit is the year. Therefore, this is a December 2021 manufactured vehicle.

Thanks. I believe letter "I" is never used in the series. So "L" would be November instead of December then?

Thanks sir for this! Quick question however, on some posts I see a detailed PDF for volkswagen vehicles (like this one - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/buyin...ml#post4833588 (ARTICLE: Find your car's date of manufacture (VIN))) .

Is there a way to pull out the detailed data for my VIN as well ?

In both of your cases, I will not be able to get any further details. @sandeepss1980, the PDF with all the details which wildon obtained were from a paid software and I, unfortunately won't be able to help you with that.

Thank you akash_v12 for the quick revert - much appreciated. I believe the VIN date corresponds to when the CKD kit was manufactured, and not when the car was assembled in India?
