Can somebody help me this confusion? I am getting delivery of Skoda Kushaq 1.5 AT AMB and dealer has shared the VIN with me. However as per the VIN guide it is Mar 2023 manufactured vehicle. When I asked the dealer they said the chassis was manufactured in Mar 23 and then Skoda imported the engine and assembled the complete car in May or June. Which I am not finding it satisfactory.

He also agreed to give me a letter from Skoda assuring about manufacturing month. He confirmed that it is an OBD-2 (BS6 Phase2) vehicle for sure. Please suggest. Is it ok to accept even if it is manufactured in March 2023?

Why seek clarification?
I just stated plain and simple while booking in 1st week of March that the VIN should say Jan or Feb or even better March 2023. My VIN indeed said Feb 23 manufactured (MEXKRBPA2PGXXXXXX)

This should save a lot of time back and forth and help avoid such gaslighting attempts by scrupulous sales people.

Both are KIA Sonets and are readily available with the dealer. Just want to choose the latest one and also ensure that it is not very old!
