JL E Class E1200 Monoblock Amp Vs Alpine MRP-M450

hey can some one help me choose one of the two..! which one would be a better option to power up my Alpine SWR "Type R" 12" 1500W Sub..

1) JL Audio E Class E1200 Monoblock Amplifier

» Rated Power (mono): 120 W RMS x 1 @ 4 ohm (12.5V); 200 W RMS x 1
@ 2 ohm (12.5V)
» THD at Rated Power: <0.08% @ 4 ohm (20 Hz -20 kHz)
» S/N Ratio: >104 dB referred to rated power (A-weighted, 20 Hz ? 20 kHz
noise bandwidth)
» Frequency Response: 10 Hz ? 25 kHz (+0, -1dB)
» Damping Factor:>200 @ 4 ohm / 50 Hz, >100 @ 2 ohm / 50 Hz
» Slew Rate: ± 22V/µs
» Input Range:200mV ? 8V RMS
» Dimensions:9.8" x 9.25" x 2.36"

2) Alpine MRP-M450 Mono Amplifier

» mono subwoofer car amplifier
» 220 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
» variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz, 24 dB/octave)
» tuned Bass EQ (0-12 dB bass boost at 50 Hz)
» subsonic filter (15 Hz, 24 dB/octave)
» MOSFET power supply
» CEA-2006 compliant
» STAR Topology (minimizes internal noise and prevents ground
interference)
» speaker- and preamp-level inputs
» gold-plated screw terminals
» fuse rating: 20A x 2
» 8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and
hardware not included with amplifier
» 9-3/4"W x 2-3/8"H x 9-9/16"D

400W > 200W...this might be the whole picture btu take the Alpine even though the Alpine amp is probably rated at 14V not 12.5V.

yea i was thinking of that..its costing me 220$..i have that option too..but the weight limit permits me....("i can only get 50 kilos that is 2 suitcases..")

The sub weighs like 7 kilos..i guess..and i am also getting some components and some momo accessories..if i have enough room for that one..i will surely consider it..

no no man I only recomended 605 not 1005, Navin Also he would not be able to run two 4+4 ohms woofer with a single 1005 (1 ohms not stable). thats why I recomended 605 to him.
