a pair of 306C (single Voice coil) wired parllel to get 2 ohms ...wired to a d510 giving them 500 watts to both of them would get quite loud.....and would cost quite lesss

amp -> 11k
subs -> 3.5+3.5=7k
box -> 2k

20k total.....

LBm you forgot I recommended spending 20% on damping and wires. 20% of 25K is 5K. 20K on amp, sub and box.

yes sir

one more option he can get the MRD-M1005 Amplifier instead of the d510.....it will give 500 watts to each sub to extract from them fully.....

Tubes just boom, they dont generate that much raw SPL, in his budget the best thing is the Pio Subs, reasonable and very loud for the price. The amp Deparment he should be looking for a Sony XMSD61X mono amp in Grey.

@Jas6789 30k is the total budget or just for amp and sub ?

Jas, I agree with everyone that suggested the Pio subs for budget SPL. But I definitely suggest you buy LBM's Alpine mono and give those subs some serious juice. The Alpine is way better than the any new mono you will get in your budget.

Yes but does it sell for less than 15K. He needs 9-10K for woofer and box and 5-6K for damping and wires.

in most caes a sub in a box will

a) need more power
b) produce lower levels of bass
c) produce better defined bass and less BOOM

In short if you like Jazz, Rock, etc.. get a box. If you want to wake the neighbours get a Tube or even a Free Air sub.

A Ported Box is the best option for an SPL setup, a Bass tube will not suffice, especially since you looking for a double sub setup with Pioneer subs.
30k is decent enough for a pair of pio subs and amp with wiring. Pioneer subs are mostly sold in Grey, so, you would shell a max of 5k per sub. Keep 5k aside for wiring etc. Ask LBM for a deal on the MRD amp, if you can get your hands on that, nothing like it. Else a Sony XMSD61X works good for that pair of subs which again is not available officially in India. If you pick up the Alpine amp then have either LBM, Gunbir or Jasdeep tune it for you as anyone inexperienced will not do justice to the amp and Pio subs are notorius for blowing up too with good power, and tht alpine churns out more than good power. So all the best
