Let me know when I can come on over and make out the tongue movements of Beyonce, I would be most interested.

PS - I'm coming there sooner than you think.

Huh! Diapers and tongues seems to be favorites here.

@Sam. We are looking forward to your visit Sam. I promise it will be more than just tongues!!

That Diapers are mostly used by co-passengers when I am on the driving seat.

Infinity Kappa was a special collector's thing. It was kept exclusively and untouched by my installer. (He is a collector of good ICE equipment and that requires a whole new thread I guess) He would've never sold it. But after a lot of persuasion and waxing, he agreed. Man, I am glad there was no 10 inchers on stock here. This one is very good and suffice all my expectations. Too bad it is not available anymore.
It was also installed very neatly.

Another thing I've noticed is the setup doesn't produce lot of noise outside. No boom boom even when the setup is played in high volumes. No, It's not complete silence! but not irritating at all.

It is indeed a nice journey I've started with HERTZ, Alpine, Blau and Infinity Kappa. I'm really enjoying it.

It will be atleast 2 weeks before I post the installation pics (it is all at my home and I won't be going there soon). Sorry for that.

Ya, and once he keeps something away, it is lost to the eyes of the general public for ever. It must have taken a lot of arm-twisting, cajoling and threatening to get him to part with the sub. I can see it in my mind's eye, him hugging onto the sub for dear life and Zak pulling the sub from his grip saying no, no, it won't hurt

It's that time of the year!

There's always a good sequel for a good prequel. Ain't it?

I always had a thought that good movies should always have a sequel till I got to see the Spiderman series. Nothing like the Spiderman 1 was amazing or so but the sequel to it had everything which the first one lacked in creating boredom. :yawn!!
Then there were those great sequels like Killbill2, Matrix trilogy, Bourne series etc.. It's been umpteen times I've repeatedly got these in my eyes and brains thru my computer, or some theatre etc..

Now, the story continues in this part of the world of ICE and a Qualis.
As many of you guys know already, this is one very unholy combination put together. A Qualis which is always put through all the best muck, potholes, traffic, gravel, anything one can think of being non motorable.
A good, decent set of ICE which was handpicked and taken very good care of than the owner takes care of his body parts.
A mad MULLAH who also happens to be a MALLU uses the above as his daily drive and manages to take advantage of the vehicle and ICE to it's maximum.

So, it's been a year and more the above scenario was happening. Qualis, ICE and the Mullah! All the onlookers get to see was a whoosh whoosh qualis going past with some lounge music in the background and a beard flying all over.
But as with everything else, it reaches a point where everybody has to get bored. The Mullah started finding faults in his setup and what he used to feel very happy about started to give him a few crooked ears and thoughts. A bit of online research and shop browsing, few discussions with friends, some audition sessions and Voila!! It's that time of the year again!!!
The install needs it's update. A recheck of the wiring, HU, Speakers, damping and ofcourse retuning.
That's all what I had in mind when I reached my installer. But what followed is...... ...... ..... My friends! It is a big story. All I can say now is that it left my pocket lighter by around 20k!!

Still.... I feel the sequels can be good if it's well made. What say!

I will be back with the install pics and details as soon as I take the delivery in another 3 hours or so.
So.. Guys! Till then please wait. :wicked smilie:

I was completely lost in the saturday fever. I am on my way to take delivery of the car.
I have some pictures I took with my phone. Camera and pics are yet to come from A S H V I N.

Once upon a time, a Qualis was ICED. (Again!)-qualis-rainbow.jpg
Front component removed. Had to do this to get the damping rechecked.

Once upon a time, a Qualis was ICED. (Again!)-qualis-rainbow-1.jpg
Kept in the front seat with it's tweeters and crossovers.

Once upon a time, a Qualis was ICED. (Again!)-qualis-rainbow-2.jpg
Rear components removed and kept with the tweeters.

that 7 channel amp must be very heavy, judging by the look on A S H V I N's face

Of course, I'm sure you'll have spun a few stories by the time we finally find out. here's to more of the saga
