Alto ICE install

Finally after a nice long month discussing ICE setups here on Team-BHP. I finally got mine done.

HU- Pio 5950
Components- Hifonics Atlas A56.5CI

Loving the sound and really pleased with the clarity despite not having amps. Certain strong low tones causing some vibration in the door, does not happen always. Need to fill the door with foam pads i guess. Next planning on amping up and putting in some rear co-axials for that surround effect. Need my coffers to fill in before that

Here are pics of the install:

My thanks goes to everyone out here who pointed me in the direction and especially blueraven316 who cut me a sweet deal and helped with the install.

enjoying my ride...

Congrats!
Great Setup and you have started your ICE life in the right way. Normally, people want all the ICE in one go and it ends up in a lot of compromise. But kudos to what you have done.
Gradually! as dough gets stuffed up in your pockets, you can start adding up. And I see some nice planning up too.

I had used Pio 5950 in one of my installs and didn't really like it. But nice to hear that you found it good for you. It all matters to different tastes.
Good thing of this HU is it has enough options for a good future upgrade. And it comes for a good price too.

Where did you get your setup done? I think by Anwar's!
The front components have been installed well. And I am sure it didn't involve too much of cutting shutting. It looks amazing too! Great job!

I think you should add a good sub first instead of getting Rear co-axials. Discuss it with BlueRaven. He will guide you better.

At the cost of sounding cliched in this thread, let me commend you on good planning and on showing restraint. Most people would have used the total money you spent now on getting a lesser HU and 4 coaxials. Then they'd regret it when they wanted to upgrade.

Really nice install . Before seeing this, I'd have had serious doubts about whether a deep basket 6.5" comp would have gone into an Alto door. Now I know it can be done neatly and made to sound good too.

For your setup, I'd get an amp and damping for the front doors next. A sub next, and then coaxials for the rear.

I'm going to look forward to seeing you build this system

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Off Topic: I see nice 3-way install possibilities (for others) for the Alto now . 6.5" Midbasses in doors, midranges in dash (stock locations) and tweets on the dash/A pillar. Yum!
