ICE for Phoenix

Hi guys!
As some of you may be aware, I am reaching the business end of an overhauling project for my Lancer. I've called it Project Phoenix.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...t-phoenix.html

The ICE was recently fitted, and the setup was decided after hours and hours of pouring through the ICE section, learning something new every time, which in turn, added to my already confused state!
Some of you may remember the questions that I had asked to help decide on my setup.

Eventually this is what I went for:

Head unit: Alpine CDE-9881 with Ipod adapter cable
2-way Front Components: Illusion Electra EL6.1
Rear 4-way Coaxials: Pioneer TS-A6982R
Subwoofer: JBL GT4-12 in a sealed box
Amplifier: JBL GTO75.4
Connection wires: Stinger SWK8RS Pro Series wiring kit plus additional Monster Car Audio speaker wires & Phoenix Gold RCA cable
Full Damping for the front doors

I'm still getting used to the system - primarily fiddling around with the HU settings. Will tune the amp to my preference tomorrow. The "tuner" at the install shop insisted on using the most bass-packed song in my collection to tweak the settings. I didn't argue much with him, coz I wanted to do it myself anyway.

Here are some pics of the install, and of the final setup. The install was neat and efficient. More pics to come later. Comments & suggestions welcome!

Finally, thanks to all the gurus in the ICE section who helped me reach an informed decision, to opt for a setup that appealed to me.

I must confess that I am not an ICE person.

But having listened to his setup (inspite of it not being tune properly) I now know why Sam called my OEM Kenwoods 'crap'.

Is there a problem using a 4-way? Tried the JBL GTO937 (3-way) first, and then the Pioneer 4-way's. Preferred the sound from the Pio's. Price was same, so went for them.

Not sure. I got them from Bombay!! B&T should know their origin!

@Mugen Power: Thanks!
Btw, Picasa is my preferred way because of the following reasons:
1. It keeps all the pictures together - helps if you are trying to chronicle a project of sorts, which I am.
2. It allows me to upload more pics easily (Picasa does the image resizing and uploading for you). Guess the relative ease-of-use is a major advantage over Imageshack/Photobucket.

But Pics posted on imageshake are better to view in forum and it also resizes the pics.

I was saying that he got Illusion speaker installed..not that the whole setup is of Illusion as Illusion only make speakers and not amps or HU.
