^^From which shop in Gurgaon you got it from? Classic traders?

Even I am contemplating getting their two din system for my Ritz, and its offered to me at 10 % discount on MRP of 17990, though I am pretty hopeful that some further discounts can be extracted.

As far as the A.S.S is concerned, I have been assured that this is good, and in case of serious failure, the system will be replaced with a new one during the one year warranty period.

Bandhav: Nahi, I got it from Sixth Sense, Check them out on Old Delhi Road, Opp, Sector 14 Market. You will get much better price for 2 DIN from them. 2 DIN system has touch screen, bluetooth connectivity, etc etc, and lots more. I wanted 2 DIN only, but my Santro doesnt has that much space for 2 DIN.

I will update screenshots of the system.

panky12345: Rear Speakers are JBL, Front speakers - some normal speakers. no amps woofer etc. Very budgeted system, but JBL speakers make all the difference with the sound. Glad that I didnt go for Amps, Subwoofer , tweeter etc.

Yup, sure.

It was primarily budget constraints, then boot space, as I do lot of travel with car fully loaded (people and luggage) within and outside city.

And Santro is a small car with limited space.

Also, the speakers are doing their job fine, I installed them for a trial and am glad they are doing their job well, hence no need to upgrade.

Guys while we are at discussing Mega Audio and its credentials, I would also like to know that has anyone of you ever heared/used any of the Convex products. I have seen their advertisment in Autocar magzine, they have a website too.

I tried doing a bit more research on the the brand and what shocked me is the pricing! Their top of the line fully loaded Tocuh screen 2 Din HU is available for as low as 8.5 k.

Yeah, could be a chinese product, since its quite cheap.

Has been doing duty in my car since thieves stole my earlier system.

I am happy since installed, more than a year since it is in my car.

This name Pagaria rings a bell, IIRC my father bought a VCD player around 10-12 years back and it was of PAGARIA make, it served us well.

But the question why this kind of elusive and false and cheap marketing of products? Why could not they tell the truth to customer about the product than selling by telling customer as leading brand of UK.

This is pure deceiving technique and looting customers hard earned money.

Yes they once sold a lot of economical electronics through Big Bazaar (Kishore Biyani's group). I also saw Pagaria along side brands like Mitashi but of late the big electronics chains like Ezone and Croma do not carry their stuff.

This would be a question only Mr. Pagaria could answer.

Hi BHPians,

just adding some important notes to the string. Mega Audio is indeed a brand used in India by Pagaria Electronics Pvt Ltd. It is a UK registered entity but the product is completely manufactured in China (the box has 'made in PRC' tag). The reason why this company is registered in UK is that they are in some technical collaboration with Mega Audio, Germany (which is indeed based in Germany).

The reason why some dealers are selling this agressively is because of higher margins on these products. They are definitely China made, but a tad better than other brands. The product comes with a 1-year warranty (against 2-year on Sony, Pioneer, Alpine, etc) which is some assurity for a new buyer. After hearing both Mega Audio-MAU628 and Alpine-CDE-102E (both starting range) on JBL GT5-S265C at Sixth Sense, Gurgaon, I found very little difference in lows, mids and peak output. I think the difference will be more visible over a period of time.

I have bought MAU628 for 4K and installed in my Indica Vista because they costed around 2.5K cheaper than Alpine (not an expensive gamble). I also fitted the GT5-S265C in front doors (tweeters on the pillar) and am happy with the performance. Will keep you posted for more.

Contact details for Mega Audio:

Contact Person Mr Vikas Pagaria
Company Address 2335, Raja Park, Rani Bagh, New Delhi
Mobile Number 91-9868426356
Fax Number 91 11 27190792
