Anyone heard of Mega Audio ?

Has anyone heard of the brand "Mega Audio" - my dealer says its a UK based brand. He has been trying to sell their HU to me. Has anyone heard of this brand - any feedback? Products look good on the outside, but I havent had a chance to test how well it sounds...

TIA

UK based? Yeah, the word 'Audio' in 'Mega Audio' is in English. Nothing else AFAIK.

I've seen their advertisements in auto magazines. They seem to be the typical chinese made cr@p. Please don't buy them. I can suggest this even when I haven't heard them, because of obvious doubtful quality, A.S.S and reputation issues.

I have seen this brand Mega Audio in its adverts in auto magazines for quite sometime. I have got my newly booked Innova this week and am have been planning a system with touchscreen and bluetooth in built.
After researching major brands like Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC etc i thought of calling this MegaAudio contact in Delhi and found the person very responsive and the best part of it - a Dual Din touchscreen system with inbuilt Bluetooth besides DVD playback, USB, Aux etc at a price of 17,900.00
I find this to be a steal compared to the major brands which retail at a minimum of 39,000.00 for similar touchscreen with inbuilt bluetooth.
I was apprehensive of the quality of this product since it is priced nearly half to that of the other brands but have nonetheless decided to jump in and go for it. Have already transferred the amount to the company account and am awaiting the boxed product eagerly. Am praying it turns out to be a good product as it seems in the website images.
Will keep posted on the same.

Hi @donquixote_yo,
Did you receive the product? Would you please add your inputs and probably a brief review would help, as I also looking at these models.

Hmm, Kenny touchscreen players are even faulty nowadays here in india. I hope the product you've ordered turns out to be good for you.

Seems, no one on team BHP has yet done a review on Mega Audio. So that makes me first

I installed this last year in my Santro Xing, since Santro doesnt has space for 2DIN, I have purchased the one with 1 DIN, its not touch screen. However, its a DVD, VCD, MP4, MP3, USB, SD Card Reader CD, Reverse Camera Support, FM, AM player. Only grouse till now, I need to open antenna for it to catch the signals of FM better. Rest all, its working like a charm.

I paid approx 8k for this in Gurgaon.

Reason for choosing this: This was the only 1 DIN player available with so many features in the accessories shop belonging to my friend.
