thank you sir...well definitely better than the x-types in all the right areas.Found them quite similar to x-types in the kind of sound they produce.IMO someone who likes the x-types will definitely like the id's.The id's take it a step further compared to the x-types.
i hope you understood me..i'm still a noob in the ice dept. so trying my level best to use technical i.c.e. words to try and describe the difference.hope i didnt make a mess of it.

arey baba, 5.6uf at 4ohms = 7kHz. B&T was just stating the obvious.
2-Way Crossover Designer / Calculator

this means that the midbass must have a very smooth HF roll off with few break up nodes.

However the midabss might be rolled of earlier (we dont have the value of the inductor). many midbass drivers have a slight hump in their response between 2K and 6K and hence if one rolls of earlier it flattens that hump.

I think I agree...most importantly at their price, they seem to be really good VFM given that they performed quite well with significantly more expensive electronics (as experienced in Gunbir's car)

Enjoy your music and start planning for a Genesis P4 ultra

Also Navin Ji in layman language the Midbass has to do the major mid range/vocal part as the cross over point is quite high.

true but there are many drivers capable of this, only given that this is a car speaker I would also be concerned about beaming. Then again the topology of the cone and the nature of it's suspension would tell us more. I have heard of many a 6 or 8" driver (Fostex, Supravox, Veravox, Hemp, Omega, Fertin, Lowther, Visaton etc..) that do not beam till 7k or even 9k.
