Nice setup Busa and thanks for putting up partial pictures. How does it sound? Is the Red coloured damping from Noise Kill as well?

Arey baba, dont use the public forum for such sensitive information. use PM.

^^^

Yes, you could easily get a double din system for the budget. But the question is, do you really need one? Most double din models have hardly any features that contribute to sound and will have a cassette player that most people nowadays dont use. And yet, they end up being more expensive than comparable single din head units. Using an adapater, a single din head unit can be installed in an Innova with the remaining space used as a mini storage compartment.

Plus, allocating too much of your budget to the head unit is also not a good idea. Getting better speakers, amp, subs will make a more significant difference in the sound.

But then I have found that some people just go for the 2 Din since it "looks cool".

As per B&T recommendation spend on the speakers and wiring instead of a double DIN.

For cool factor one can get the JVC AVX 800 or 900 model. Touchscreen, DVD and good sound.

Hi Busa, did you finally post the pictures somewhere, i am curious to see how you have retained the OE setup along with the new ICE

You bet Razor

@Busa : Congrats on getting such fabulous equipment. The Kolkata Team Bhp chapter is very much inclined towards Illusion /JBL setups ( Me being no exception), and I am sure everyone will raise their glasses cheers: with you.
My 50 cents would be to get a 12" Sub instead of a Bass Tube.

I hope you have had the setup tuned to your taste. Now forget all technicalities and enjoy the music.

hi busa, you setup looks cool. i am also looking for an upgrade but i am going slow and careful this time since last time i made a blunder!

i am searching for a good place in mumbai for my ICE installation. now how is boom audio regarding-
1) are they professional in their work?
2) do they have enough knowledge to guide you to a proper installation?
3) do they have speakers of JBL and polk?
4) do they have good speaker and RCA cables?

if yes, i would like to visit that place for my car. i will take the address or contact number through PM. thanks in advance.
