You have the bass boost option in the Pioneer 5050 HU,as well.

I too found it the hard way, trial and error and test tones. The dots in A604 corresponds to a frequency of 50Hz. The 12'0 clock position is around 60Hz. The 2'0 clock is around 80Hz. Even though the min is 32Hz and max is 320Hz, remember, it is not a linear scale.

a bit OT, but do you have any experience with the hissing noise in the pio HU? check out my posts in an other thread for details..
