The speakers can be mounted from the top with the use of MDF spacers, i'm going to try that on my vehicle soon. Without the amp & sub you would missing the bass and loudness, as they get all the power from the HU only.

im planning to put GTO938 at rear using spacers!
but doubtful about what to put in front cause the GTO507c aren't available.did find 5" jbl speakers and hoping to fit them under stock location!!
