Help -- ICE upgrade

Hi , Gurus need your help for some upgrades . Well i have no knolwedge about brands , i mean which brand s better and why . So i need your help in making me choose the right product . And i am not a rich guy by any means so i will prefer VFM stuff

1. Car -- Current setup in Palio , might shift it to OHC

2 Current setup -- I have Blau VPC 172 competition series components running at fronts , MTX rear speakers co-axials , Hu --- Pioneer 6050
Hifonics 1208 Mono amp , 1 DESI ;D amp 4 channel . 1 JBL sub ..

3 Things i want to buy ....

New 4 channel Amplifer ( Decided JBL 1004e )
New subs that can use the power my Hifonics pumps out .
New components for Fronts

3. Budget:
4 channel amp === 11k
Components or Subs === 16k

I will buy subs or the components right now ,very confused

5. Music preferences === Psy , House, Electro ,hip hop and rock too , though rock very few times .

i hope i am very clear

if you want more bass, just get one more JBL sub OF THE SAME KIND in a similar box, and power from the Hifonics mono.
IF you want a better soundstage upfront, then spend about 12-15k on a good set of components and enjoy!
you can do both, since a jbl sub without bill and warranty costs about 2200-2600.
and a set of components like the illusion electra wil cost about 7k. you will be a happy man! keep the 4-5k odd left for later, for the next installment as a new head unit shuld be the next upgrade, if you plan on making one!!!!!
1004 + electra is a great combination. each makes up for each other's shortcomings and makes for a good powerful front soundstage.

I was planning to shift my current comps to the rear and add new sets of comps at front. I had plans of having better soundstage by having nice set of components .

May be i add a sub later , and are there any other options for 4 channel amplifier ?

Can u tell me some specific model numbers for the comps and the amplifier ?

I will be installing focal components this weekend. Got a nice deal on it. Will let you know the experience as soon as install is finished.
You may consider ID or Rainbow entry level components. I have ID in my NHC and loving it right now.

Ankit why don't you audition some systems in Chandigarh.

Some members with good sounding systems in Chandigarh:
Gill
Chirag_Bir
D1ISTHE1
maverick555

Most probably SumitBahl is going to upgrade the ICE in next 2 days. Maybe you can audition his system too.

ankit 2 pair of component will a over kill if you want 2 pair then go this way

front's rainbow slx 265
rear's rainbow kx 165

or you can drop the kx165 and shift your old blou component's for time being as mixing 2 different brands are not recommended,you have a budget of 16k for either compo or sub the rainbow slx will cost you somewhere 10k (not sure)check with gunbir,ballance you can buy a sub with the money left bull audio,jbl,gz .

IMHO you don't need 2 pairs. But as you have Blau already and want to upgrade why not install them in rear or else you can sell them.

Have heard both CTX and HSK. Dude you will pull your hair and i mean it. If i have to decide between both of them i will have to audition them over days and see. They both sound excellent.

Both HSK and CTX are under 16K. HSK last i checked are not available with SSPL.
