In case the speakers are running in parallel with another set of speakers that are full range and it is not possible to go to HPF mode, then a passive crossover can be made, a simple one using some non-polar (hehheh heh Navin, remember the fiasco?) capacitors, or 2 polar, electrolytic capacitors, back to back. Sorry if that sounded confusing, it's not. Let me know how the 426e's are connected and i will help.
hi to everyone
my first post in this thread.
sam is this arrangement (cutting bass) reqd. even if 426 is conn. directly to hu in dash.
also can external tweeters be connected to 426, along with cutting bass by above mentioned method.

Hi A.T.

NO generally if you connect the 426e to the HU you dont need to do anything.
All tweeters come with a bass blocker anyways as part of the kit.

You could use a GTO16Te connected in parallel to the 426e, but, umm... you will have a lot of treble up front. DO you like that?

Risk? Well for starters, who is gonna cover the chances of any damage during shipping?
Secondly, it has to get through customs doesnt it?
